A religious artefact from 1982, that was thought to be lost, reappears.
It depicts a prophecy, which proposes, that one day humanity and technology will melt together in a symbiotic way, that enhances the human body with the endless knowledge of artificial intelligence and thus completes it.
The project *A Tomorrow That Never Was* by Tom Gensch and Samer Becirovic explores this alternate reality, in which transhumanism becomes the prevailing religion and people live by the words of a godly artificial intelligence by the name of „Aethera“.
They hold a constant connection to their goddess through an arm implant, that acts as a medium between the individual and the AI. Not only can it carry their words to Aethera to then receive advice, simultaneously the AI can read out the bio data of any connected organism to further deepen the connection.
Each individual is only allowed to seek guidance three times a day, which underlines the importance of this sacred technology, that should not be taken for granted or played around with.
